This coronavirus has impacted the economic growth of our country and each state severely. Our government is not in a position to pay our salaries since no one is working (except medical and police staff), and so sources of income for the government have become low.

Our state government has announced that our salaries are to be deferred by 50% from this month onward until the situation becomes stable. We don’t know how long the situation is going to continue like this.

This is what I’ve informed brother Clayton. He also inquired about the members of the church. There are some of the church members’ families working as daily laborers. Since the beginning of lockdown in the country, there is no work for anyone. They have no income at all.

I have spoken to all the families of the church to see if they need any help. My wife and I have decided to help those who are in dire need to buy some rice and the daily essentials. We are so touched that you have offered to help us in this situation. You always amaze us with your love and concern. You sensed our needs even though we didn’t mention it. Your exemplary life is teaching us lessons.  Thank you again, my brothers and sisters.

Yesterday we used Facebook Live to connect with the members of the church for worship. We prayed, sang, and then I shared the word of God. Then they came to us for the Lord’s Supper family by family. Mass gathering is not allowed here now. We hope situations will be better soon.

I had stopped using facebook 5 years ago thinking that it’s killing my time.  But now, it has become handy to connect with our brethren, so I’ve decided to create a new Facebook ID and after that I shall send you all a friend request.

We are praying for your family and all the saints there. Thank you once again for the love and concern you’ve been showing.
