Africa is an enormous continent, so we have divided our areas of focus into East, West, South, and French-speaking Africa. We are blessed to partner with these local leaders who are doing an incredible job of transforming their communities.

Liberia

OUR PARTNERS: MAXWELL WHEA + EDMUND BORFAY

THE SITUATION:
Libera suffered two fairly recent civil wars that lasted for 14 years, culminating in over 250,000 deaths. As a result, the country’s economy and infrastructure collapsed, causing many people to flee to neighboring countries.

Liberia continues to struggle to rebuild its economy, as well as battle both Ebola and Covid outbreaks. Learn more →

• Restoration Bible and Agriculture Institute: a two-year program that teaches the Bible and Farming God’s Way

Ghana

OUR PARTNER: DR. SAMUEL TWUMASI-ANKRAH

THE SITUATION:
Ghana suffered a massive famine in the 1980s that devastated the entire country. However, its economy has since rebounded and the country’s infrastructure is intact.

Sierra Leone

OUR PARTNERS: JACOB SESAY + TAMBA KABBA

THE SITUATION:
Sierra Leone seems to be constantly be locked in civil unrest. Struggles with outbreaks of civil wars have lead to a lagging infrastructure and broken economy.

Although the majority of the nation is Muslim, the church has been doing well there. Radio ministry has become even more important due to recent Covid restrictions.
