Current Relief Projects

In times of disaster, people are often in greatest times of need. We strive to help restore communities in these times.
We partner with local churches to provide immediate and long-term relief in the event of drought, crisis, storms, or other disasters.

REMEMBER: at One Kingdom, 100% of your gift goes toward the efforts you choose!

Nepal Relief

Rasuwa District Nepal
August 26, 2026 Nepal was hit by devastating flooding when a dam burst and sent a sudden wall of water and debris through communities downstream. As of now, 1,355 people are dead, and nearly 5,000 are still missing.

Our One Kingdom partners on the ground, Pramod and Krishna, are assessing the damage to the churches and communities. Two of our brothers (Sanjaya and Markus) traveled on foot for two days in the Himalayan region and have arrived in the hardest-hit Rasuwa District and are assessing the needs.
• Among the losses are 57 church members.
• Many children have lost parents, and caring for orphans is a priority.
• They are visiting family members of deceased brethren.
• They will also be helping the children and families in the community.
At One Kingdom, our goal is to always work alongside the local church, so that long after the news stops covering the story, the people continue to receive hope and help.

Earthquakes: Venezuela

San Felipe & Caracas
Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela on Wednesday, leaving devastation in their wake.
As of today, at least 188 people have been killed and more than 1,500 injured following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. Rescue and recovery efforts are ongoing, and the need remains urgent.

At One Kingdom, we have already connected with partners and contacts in the affected areas and are actively working on a plan to provide relief and support where it is needed most.

South Texas Flood Relief

Kerrville & Uvalde
Communities across the Texas Hill Country have been devastated by catastrophic flooding. Families have lost loved ones. Homes have been destroyed. Entire neighborhoods have been forced to evacuate as floodwaters continue to threaten lives.

The hardest-hit areas include Kerrville, Hunt, Ingram, Center Point, Comfort, and Uvalde, where emergency crews are still conducting rescues and beginning the long road to recovery.

Flood Relief

South Louisiana, USA
More than 400 homes were devastated by approximately 30 inches of rain that fell in 12 hours. We hope to have volunteers ready to go at a moment’s notice.  If you would be available to help, please contact Beverly Dobbs, 318-396-1000 or beverly@onekingdom.org.  Please include your phone number and email.

Ebola Relief

Democratic Republic of the Congo
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, many of you may remember our partner, Shammy Bunani. Just one year ago, Shammy and his family were held at gunpoint and robbed. Today, they are facing yet another crisis as the Ebola epidemic spreads through their region. Jobs are scarce, banks are closed, and many families are struggling to meet even their most basic needs.
With your help, One Kingdom has sent resources to help the church and the community.

Food Relief

 Karamoja, Uganda
A severe food crisis in the Karamoja region of Uganda is creating tremendous hardship for families and communities already living with very little. Prolonged drought and failed harvests have left many without enough food, and some of the most vulnerable—including the elderly and young children—have gone days without a meal.
Because of your generosity, One Kingdom was able to send emergency funds to our ministry partners in Uganda to provide food for those in greatest need.

Earthquakes: The Philippines

Philippines
One Kingdom was able to help our partners in the Philippines to help provide food and relief to those who were devastated by the earthquakes in early June 2026.
