A Response to COVID-19
Why do we always see the need to blame someone for what is happening around us? What people really need is hope. People need a word of encouragement, an appreciation for their efforts, and a purpose to live for. To quote Thomas Paine, “These are the times that try men’s souls,” but I say these are the times to save men’s souls by the grace and forgiveness found in the story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Liberia and Discipleship
A disciple is a student, pupil, learner and more importantly, a follower. A disciple knows the teacher and does what he does. Bob Dylan wrote a song titled, “Gotta Serve Somebody,” and one of the lines in the chorus says, “It may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody.”

This coronavirus has impacted the economic growth of our country and each state severely. Our government is not in a position to pay our salaries since no one is working (except medical and police staff), and so sources of income for the government have become low.

Since the announcement of the first case in Kenya, we have witnessed the same global pattern: increase of positive cases, recoveries, and deaths. The recoveries far outnumber the deaths, and this brings about hope.
